CRC Equity

Canada Research Chairs at Women’s College Hospital - Equity, Diversity and Inclusions

The University of Toronto’s Canada Research Chair (CRC) program is administered by the University in partnership with nine affiliated hospitals in the Toronto Academic Health Sciences Network (TASHN).

The CRC Equity page complements the information provided on the University’s website and provides information specific to Women’s College Hospital (WCH), including postings for available Canada Research Chair opportunities at this hospital.

WCH is working with its TASHN partners to develop an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan, to be released December 15, 2017. By this date, WCH policies on equity, diversity, and inclusion will be available on this website.

Please consult the CRC website to learn more about the Federal program’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Practices. These practices aim to increase transparency within the program. They require firm targets to increase nationally the number of chair holders from the four designated groups as defined by the CRC program: women, Aboriginal peoples, persons with disabilities and members of visible minorities.

There are currently no CRC opportunities open at WCH. Any questions regarding CRC opportunities can be directed to Alex Willis, Manager, Research Grants: alex.willis@wchospital.ca.
