Academic chairs are endowments that give their recipients resources to develop their research interests and to mentor others in the field. Several of WCRI's leading scientists hold such chairs. This is a way for WCRI and hospital donors to support outstanding scholarship and leadership. The development of academic chairs is an important part of our strategy to build women's health research capacity and increase women's health knowledge.
