The Phelan Chair in Dermatology was established through a generous donation by the Helen and Paul Phelan Foundation. Helen Phelan served on the board of Women's College Hospital for more than 20 years, including four years as board chair.

The Phelan Chair works with Women's College Hospital's outstanding clinical programs in dermatology. The chair leads research efforts in this area with a particular focus on clinical innovation in treatment and surgery.
