WCRI is the only Canadian facility offering researchers the opportunity to test women's health-care innovations within a research-driven ambulatory care community. Our faculty combines academic researchers and research-engaged clinicians in a dynamic process to improve women's care. WCRI includes a number of highly respected academic chairs who lead our research efforts and mentor the work of others.

Women's College Hospital is an academic teaching hospital of the University of Toronto. As part of both the hospital and the university communities, we work with researchers from different disciplines to foster, facilitate and integrate research that explores sex and gender differences. Through our Coalition for Research in Women's Health, 101 researchers from across the University of Toronto and its affiliated teaching hospitals have joined together in a collaborative women's health network. We also publish a Directory of Women's Health Researchers at the University of Toronto.

Students are the next generation of women's health researchers and are an integral part of WCRI. Learn more about some of the outstanding young researchers associated with WCRI and about WCRI student initiatives like the Collaborative Graduate Program in Women's Health. Dr. Gillian Einstein is the inaugural director of this program.

Excellence in research cannot be achieved without visionary leaders and a supportive staff and infrastructure that fosters innovation and collaboration.
