Women’s College adjunct scientist Dr. Ophira Ginsburg recently returned from Bangladesh, where she rolled out the first phase of her capacity building pilot project, supported by Grand Challenges Canada. Ginsburg is training Bangladeshi women to become advocates, to improve their peers’ understanding of the treatability of this disease and reduce breast cancer deaths.
