Jennifer Price, RN, BNSc, MScN, ACNP, CCN(C)

Jennifer Price is a clinical nurse specialist/nurse practitioner at the Women's Cardiovascular Health Initiative of Women's College Hospital. She is currently completing a PhD at the University of Toronto's faculty of nursing. She recently received a Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada's Doctoral Nursing Research Fellowship.

Research and Academic Interests:
Ms. Price's research interests explore cardiac rehabilitation, women and heart disease. She is interested in developing methods of care delivery that improve referral and access for women to cardiac rehabilitation programs and which help women stay engaged in rehabilitation. Over the last few years, she has focused on evaluating the clinical effectiveness of a cardiac rehabilitation and primary prevention program designed specifically for women - namely the Women's Cardiovascular Health Initiative. She has also studied the efficacy of additional interventions supporting women's cardiac rehabilitation including behavioural therapy for depression.
