WCRI Training Centre

Today's students are the next generation of researchers.Dr. Sarah Romans and students from the summer student program Helping young investigators develop their expertise is a crucial part of advancing women's health knowledge and has been identified as one of our organization's strategic priorities.

The WCRI Training Centre offers support for students based at our institute. We also co-ordinate a number of unique student programs including the Collaborative Graduate Program in Women's Health at the University of Toronto offering interdisciplinary training for master's and PhD students in women's health research. Our faculty members mentor graduate students in an array of disciplines and our Women's Health Graduate Student Research Day, traditionally held in May, is well-known in the University of Toronto community. We also reach out to undergraduate students with a popular summer student program. Several awards and fellowships are also available via the WCRI training centre.

If you are interested in a research training position at the Women's College Research Institute, please use this website to learn more about our faculty and the research conducted here. Students interested in the activities of the WCRI should contact student programs and event co-ordinator Lisa Hall at students@womensresearch.ca.
