Summer student research day

September 2016

Promising young scientists presented their innovative research on Summer Student Research Day July 21.

The students participated in Women’s College Research Institute’s summer student research program. “It’s incredible to see what these students have accomplished in a few short months,” said Dr. Rochon, vice-president of research at Women’s College Hospital.

The summer student research program has grown highly successful over 13 years with hundreds of applications each year. Students learn practical research knowledge to help prepare them for post-graduate education and their careers. They work closely with scientists on a research project and attend weekly sessions provided by the scientists at Women’s College Hospital to build their skills in research.
