Women’s Xchange launches funding competitions for community projects

February 2014

Women’s Xchange

Last year, Women’s Xchange launched the $15K Challenge, a new initiative in women’s health to support grassroots projects across the province. The $15K Challenge awards $15,000 or more to various organizations who can help advance the health of women and girls.

Women’s Xchange held its first funding competition in December and invited applications for small scale community-initiated projects. It recently wrapped up a second competition open to small community projects and large scale academic-led community engaged research projects, and submissions for a third and final round of funding will be accepted until March 1, 2014. Stay tuned for the results.
