The lab of Lena Serghides, PhD, is interested in understanding how HIV infection and exposure to HIV antiretrovirals during pregnancy affects pregnancy outcome. Current projects in the lab focus on understanding the effects of HIV antiretrovirals on decidualization, placentation, sex steroids, and fetal and neonatal development.
